- Download the Kodi 17 Krypton IPA file onto your phone and have it ready.

How to Install Kodi 18.9 Leia on Firestick TV
Step 1
First, you’ll need a working internet connection on your device otherwise you won’t be able to download the APK file for the installation.
You will also need to make sure your Firestick TV has at least 100 MBs free space.

Go to your Device Menu, select “Settings”, then “My Fire TV”
Now Choose“Developer Options”.
Set the Setting“ Apps from Unknown Sources” to ON. This should prompt you with a warning but it’s safe to select “Turn on”.
With this setting turned on, you’ll be able to install third-party APKs on your Amazon Fire Stick. Having this option enabled doesn’t nullify your Fire stick so relax and proceed for further process.
Getting the Kodi APK
There are several ways you can get the Kodi APK file. Here we are going to cover two ways: Using “Downloader” and using “ES File Explorer”. For “Downloader” and “ES File Explorer”, both apps are free and available on the Amazon App store. I’d recommend using Downloader if you don’t have the exact URL since it gives you a browser interface to download the Kodi APK otherwise if you are more technical, ES explorer will be fine.
Method 1: Using Downloader App

Press the Home Button on your remote to return to your Home screen. Click on the magnifying glass icon at the Top Left and Search “Downloader”.
Select “Downloader” from the list and Download. The app has a distinguishable orange icon so be sure to get the right one.
This app enables you to download stuff from the Internet easily if you have the URL and can be used to install apps that aren’t found in the Amazon store. Once the app is Downloaded click “Open” to launch the app. The app will come up with some update notes. Select OK and then Allow to continue.

Once you’re in the app, navigate to “Settings” and check the “Enable JavaScript” checkbox.
This will prompt you with a warning but it’s safe to proceed. So click on “Yes” to continue. Also, make sure that the option of “APK Auto-Install” is checked otherwise after the download you’ll have to navigate to the APK to install from there. I recommend having this option turned on.
Go to the Menu on the left and select “Home” to go back to the home page.

Once on the Home page, enter the following URL:

Click on “Go”
The APK should take a few minutes to download depending on your internet speed.

Once the file finishes downloading, Downloader automatically pops up the installation wizard so click on Install and allow permissions to finalize installation of Kodi.

Install ES File Explorer from the Amazon Store if you don’t have it installed yet.
After the installation is done, Launch the app and follow the following steps to download and Install Kodi.

In the opened screen select “New” at the bottom of the screen to begin a new download Task.

Once after the download is finished, click “Open now” to begin the installation. Click on “Install” and allow permissions in the new display to start the installation. The installation takes a few minutes.
